How we started

The HVM Group was founded in 2016 by Harriet Minter, a journalist and broadcaster specialising in the future of work. Harriet saw a gap between the leadership skills she was writing about and the implementation of them in the workplace. She knew that qualities such as inclusion, empathy and innovation, weren't innate to just a few people, everyone had access to them. But they had to be taught. She set up The HVM Group to do just that. 

Harriet works with a team of ICF certified coaches to bring you training which is challenging, backed up by science and designed to fit your organisation. Each coach has their own areas of expertise but all are committed to bringing the right approach for your organisation. We hold value curiosity, empathy and direct communication, and this is reflected in all our work. 

We believe every team has individual needs and so we design our training to fit our clients. We work with you to answer the problems your team is facing today, while always pushing you to go a bit further towards self-discovery. We're not wedded to one particular school of thought, allowing us to bring the most up-to-date learning and deepest wisdom to your team.
